Dragons are known for keeping their prisoners alive for months so they can be "entertained." I suppose that eating everything in sight would make dragons a lonely species. Anyway, dragons love to watch a craftsman (or woman) at their work. Princess Addie's special talent lies in embroidery so she begins to embroider a portrait of Vollys, all the while planning her escape.
